Is 285 g with or without caps? Trying to work out whether it fits my weight budget.

Bought this to replace a zoom I never shot below 35mm anyway. Two weeks in and my keeper rate is noticeably up, which I did not expect from a lens change.

Took this up a mountain in persistent drizzle for four days. No fogging, no moisture inside the barrel, and the focus ring still feels the same as it did new.

The only thing I would change is the lens hood — it is plastic and it creaks.
